BUFFALO, NY — The Global Directory of Who’s Who proudly recognizes Michael Cicchetti, M.D., a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with Buffalo Spine and Sports Medicine. Dr. Cicchetti has been affiliated with the practice for approximately 17 years, beginning with his fellowship training and continuing through nearly 16 years of independent practice. He remains actively engaged in providing specialized medical care to patients throughout the Williamsville and the Greater Buffalo communities.
Dr. Cicchetti earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia, where he also completed his residency training. He later completed a fellowship at Buffalo Spine and Sports Medicine in Buffalo, New York. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Cicchetti contributes to the education of future physicians through his academic affiliation with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, teaching and supervising medical students during their clinical rotations.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cicchetti has received numerous professional honors recognizing his medical expertise, leadership, and commitment to education. He has been listed among New York Top Doctors nearly every year since 2017 and has been named a Buffalo Spree Top Doctor every year since 2019. During his residency, he received an Outstanding Achievement Award, Excellence in Teaching Award, High Self-Assessment Examination Award, and Leadership Award.
